Mitternacht - ein tiefer Traum.
Das Telefon schellt - ein Traum?
Es sollte ein wahrgewordener Traum werden:
Fannie hat ein Stutfohlen von Rohdiamant geboren!

Eine schwarze Perle, eine echte Rarität - ich bin überglücklich!
Fünfzehn Tage vor der Zeit, es musste einfach ein Stutfohlen sein!
Ein pralles Euter trug Fannie schon eine Weile mit sich herum, die Zeit war einfach gekommen - gestern dann Harztropfen und reichlich davon - abends eine aufgewühlte Fannie die ruhelos durch die Box läuft - das erste Füsschen war schon sichtbar bevor sie sich überhaupt hinlegte - es folgte eine Bilderbuchgeburt und eine ganz und gar eifersüchtige Fannie die nichts und niemanden an ihre kleine Tochter liess - heute morgen durfte ich mich dann in Ruhe zu den beiden in die Box setzen und einfach nur geniessen ...

Seit heute sind Fannie und Riva in der grossen Stuten- und Fohlenherde integriert - sieben Stuten und Fohlen und ein lustiges buntes Treiben - ich kann gar nicht genug davon kriegen!
Anbei aktuelle Fotos vom heutigen Tag, die kleine Rarität entwickelt sich prächtig!

Midnight - deep asleep and dreaming.
The phone rings - is it just a dream?
No. But it is about a dream to become true:
Fannie Mae has given birth to a filly by Rohdiamant!

A black pearl, a true rarity and i am overly happy!
This is the mostly desired filly i have been hoping and waiting for so badly - six heat cycles for Fannie to finally get pregnant, eleven months of hope and wait...
Fifteen days ahead of time - it just had to be a filly!
Fannie has had a strong udder for days, last night milk started running and oviously, it was about the time for her to give birth. 
She walked up and down in her stall and wouldn't lie down. The foal's food was already visible when she finally did lie down, then it only took a few moments for the foal to slip out completely - amazing!
Fannie however was eager to let noone come nearby her newborn princess - greatest careful mum of all, she is!
Finally, this morning she allowed for me to sit in her stall and watch them both in peace and happiness - so joyful. So content.
Thank you, Fannie, you did great!
